Yvonne Efebera, MD
Yvonne Efebera serves as the Director of Blood and Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy at OhioHealth. She received her medical degree from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine followed by residency in internal medicine from Cleveland Clinic Foundation Cleveland, Ohio and fellowship in Hematology/ Oncology from Boston Medical Center Boston, Massachusetts. Her areas of clinical expertise include fields like multiple myeloma, amyloidosis, graft vs host disease, Waldenstrom Macroglobulinemia, bone marrow transplantation, stem cell transplantation and blood cancers.
Dr. Efebera is a hematologist/oncologist and her clinical focus is B-cell lymphoid malignancies, including multiple myeloma, amyloidosis, Waldenstrom’s disease and stem cell and bone marrow transplant.
Yvonne Efebera regards her patients as part of her family and every one of her patients knows they have a physician who deeply cares and has done her best to help them. She is very passionate about research, and has studied novel therapies for treating multiple myeloma and graft-versus-host disease (GVHD).
