Cleveland Clinic Florida Department of Hematology and Blood Disorders at The Maroone Cancer Center is dedicated to providing the most current advanced treatments available to patients with cancers of the blood, bone marrow, or lymph nodes, as well as patients with benign (non-cancerous) blood disorders. The Maroone Cancer Center’s full-time, dedicated hematologists take a multi-disciplinary approach, collaborating closely with hematopathologists, radiation oncologists and surgeons to diagnosis and treat patients.
The physicians treat hematologic malignancies, including non Hodgkin and Hodgkin lymphoma, multiple myeloma, amyloidosis, acute leukemia, chronic leukemia, bone marrow failure disorders (aplastic anemia, paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria, myelodysplastic syndromes, LGL leukemia, pure red cell aplasia), myeloproliferative disorders (polycythemia vera, essential thrombocytosis, chronic myeloid leukemia, systemic mastocytosis, myelofibrosis), coagulation disorders, sickle cell anemia, clotting disorders and a variety of other benign and malignant disorder.
