Rahma Warsame, MD
Dr. Rahma Warsame is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Hematology, Diversity and Inclusion Division Leader, and a Senior Associate Consultant in the Division of Hematology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She completed her medical degree from Saba University School of Medicine followed by Fellowship and Residency from Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education.
Dr. Warsame is interested in investigating existing health care delivery systems to improve patient-reported outcomes and quality of life. She is also working on incorporating patient perspectives into clinical practice and determining its effect on clinical outcomes. Her clinical interests include patient reported outcomes and financial toxicities in cancer.
Dr. Warsame’s work aims to provide evidence for patient-centered care to improve treatment and quality of life. She hopes to incorporate the patient’s perspective systematically and efficiently into modern clinical practice.
