Kunal Bhatt, MD

Kunal Bhatt, MD, is Assistant Professor in the Division of Cardiology of the Department of Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine and cardiologist at Emory Winship Cancer Institute. Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Bhatt specializes in infiltrative cardiomyopathies, cardio-oncology and advanced heart failure therapies including heart transplant and left ventricular assist device. He has expertise in the diagnosis and management of cardiac amyloidosis, which is also the focus of his clinical research activities.

He received his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He then completed his internship, residency, cardiology fellowship, chief fellowship, and advanced heart failure/transplant fellowship at Emory University.

Dr. Bhatt holds professional memberships in the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation and the Heart Failure Society of America.
