Loyola University Medical Center

Loyola Medicine is a regional Catholic health system based in Chicago’s western suburbs and a member of Trinity Health. The system includes Loyola University Medical Center, a nationally ranked academic medical center in Maywood, Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, a community hospital in Melrose Park, MacNeal Hospital, a community hospital in Berwyn, as well as a large ambulatory network of clinics throughout Cook, Will and DuPage counties offering primary and specialty care. Gottlieb became a member of the Loyola health system in 2008 and MacNeal joined the system in 2018.

The Loyola University Medical Center campus is also home to renowned centers of excellence, including:

• Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center
• Level I Trauma Center
• William G. and Mary A. Ryan Center for Heart & Vascular Medicine

Loyola’s doctors teach at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, which is a national role model in reinventing medical education to prepare students for today’s healthcare environment. Stritch is one of only four Catholic-affiliated medical schools in the nation.
