Teresa De Marco, MD
Dr. Teresa De Marco is director of advanced heart failure and pulmonary hypertension for University of California San Francisco (UCSF), as well as medical director of heart transplantation. She manages patients with advanced heart failure and pulmonary hypertension, with expertise in all treatment modalities for the conditions.
In her research, Dr. De Marco participates in multicenter studies evaluating state-of-the-art options for advanced stages of heart failure and pulmonary hypertension. Dr. Marco earned her medical degree at the University of California, Irvine, after graduating from the University of California, Berkeley. She completed both an internship and a residency in internal medicine at UCSF Medical Center. She also completed fellowships in cardiology and heart transplantation.
Dr. Marco also serves as Professor of Clinical Medicine at University of California San Francisco.
