Stephen B. Erickson, MD

Dr. S. Erickson is a graduate in Zoology from University of Illinois. He completed his MD from University of Nebraska Medical School and Residency in Medicine followed by a Fellowship in Nephrology from Mayo Clinic College of Medicine.

Dr. Erickson was a site investigator in Kiacta trial for the treatment of amyloidosis. The trial has finished and unfortunately was negative for the treatment of AA amyloidosis. He has participated in a trial that showed some efficacy of ingesting oxalate-eating bacteria. Dr. Erickson is co-investigator in a trial of Tolvaptan to see if it dilutes urine and is also participating in trials of Rituxan to induce disease remission.

Stephen B. Erickson is primarily a clinician and teacher and is interested in clinical trials that test new treatments. Dr. Erickson has an experience in treating conditions like amyloidosis, diabetic nephropathy, kidney cyst and kidney stone.
